ABOUT OUR LOGO

The Buglas Writers Guild and Buglas Writers Journal logos feature an artifact excavated in the town of Bacong in Negros Oriental by Sillimanian anthropologists. The jar, which reflects the rich indigenous pre-Spanish culture in the island, is part of the permanent exhibition in the Silliman University Anthropological Museum, founded in 1970 by Hubert Reynolds.
